Our team of Treehouse fun finders have shared their favourite activities in London to enjoy this summer. From David Hockney at the nearby Royal Academy to Openaire Float-In Cinema on Regent’s Canal, there is something for everyone to get out and explore whilst staying at Treehouse.

Marble Arch Mound

  1. Step into the world of David Hockney at the RA, just a 10 minute walk away from Treehouse.

  2. Climb up the 25 metre high “Marble Arch Mound” (pictured) from July. Created this summer with sweeping views of Hyde Park, Mayfair and Marylebone, the Marble Arch Mound is just a short walk away from Treehouse.

  3. Van Gogh Alive: The Experience (Until 26th September) Stroll through Hyde Park to Kensington Gardens and step into the world of the artist Van Gogh, the temporary exhibition is ‘the world’s most visited immersive, multi-sensory experience’ that exhibits the life and work of the seminal Dutch artist.

  4. Take A Lady in London's Street Art Tour. These self-guided tours are worth seeing for short walks around Shoreditch and Spitalfields. There are also links for Google Maps to show exactly where the 25-30 minute walks begin and end.

  5. Fancy a game of golf? Discover one of the best golf clubs in London at The Shire.

  6. Outdoors cinema! There are plenty of alternatives around the city and especially after COVID, this is a very sensible alternative to a conventional cinema. We would recommend the Openaire Float-In Cinema presented by Häagen-Dazs. Mooring on the Regent's Canal is a fleet of 16 eco-boats, creating a never-before-seen cinematic experience! Upon arrival, you'll captain your own self-drive vessel around Little Venice before mooring at Merchant Square to watch an amazing selection of films. And if you haven’t found your sea legs yet, fear not, there will also be dozens of socially-spaced deckchairs along the towpath. Popcorn and snacks are available to order via a dedicated app and can be delivered straight to your boat or deckchair, and award-winning artisan pasta chef RaviOllie will be setting up a pop-up kitchen on the water’s edge to provide delicious, freshly cooked Italian food. Don't miss this amazing aquatic adventure to the Openaire Float-In Cinema!
