Echeverría “No es Pituko” Chilean Natural Wine Dinner
Join us for a special summer’s evening at Pip as we present our inaugural wine dinner, hosted by acclaimed winemaker Roberto Echeverría.
On Wednesday 20th August, immerse yourself in the vibrant, characterful world of Viña Echeverría’s No es Pituko collection. Guided by Roberto himself, you’ll journey through each wine’s unique personality, discovering the stories, inspiration, and artistry behind every pour.
Founded in 1930 in Chile’s Curicó Valley, Viña Echeverría is a family-run estate that has been producing wines for four generations. Today, Roberto continues the tradition with a forward-thinking approach, blending heritage and innovation. The No es Pituko range — whose name playfully means “it ain’t fancy” — is made using minimal-intervention methods: no added enzymes, no fining, no filtration, and spontaneous fermentation. The result is a series of vibrant, expressive wines that capture the raw character of the vineyard and the Chilean terroir.
The evening will feature a specially curated menu by Mary-Ellen McTague and her talented team, crafted to pair perfectly with five distinctive wines:
- Chardonnay – No es Pituko
- Viognier – No es Pituko
- Carignan – No es Pituko
- Orange – No es Pituko
- Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc– Viña Echeverría
The Menu by Mary-Ellen McTague & Team – paired with each wine will include:
- Pip bread plate, beef dripping & homemade butters
- Old Winchester cheese gougères
- Macerated Isle of Wight tomato, yoghurt, marjoram & sourdough crumb
- Lancashire hotpot, pickled red cabbage, oyster ketchup & seasonal greens
- Gooseberry & elderflower fool, olive oil biscuit
- Places are £75 per person to include the menu and wine pairings.
