Competition Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter

1.1 This competition is promoted by Bauer Media ("the Promoter") in partnership with Treehouse Hotel Manchester.

1.2 By entering this competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Prize

2.1 One winner will receive a wedding at Treehouse Hotel Manchester to a maximum value of £12,500 (including VAT).

2.2 The prize may be used towards a wedding celebration at Treehouse Hotel Manchester and includes venue hire together with food and beverage, up to a maximum total value of £12,500 (including VAT). The prize value is capped at £12,500 regardless of guest numbers.

2.3 The prize does not include:

  • The legal marriage ceremony or registrar fees.
  • Marriage licence or legal documentation.
  • Wedding attire, rings or stationery.
  • Entertainment, photography, videography, flowers or décor unless otherwise agreed.
  • Transport or accommodation for guests (other than the overnight stay for the couple included within the prize).
  • Any additional costs incurred above the prize value of £12,500.

2.4 The winner is responsible for any costs that exceed the maximum prize value of £12,500, which must be paid directly to Treehouse Hotel Manchester prior to the wedding.

2.5 The prize cannot be used against an existing wedding booking, enquiry or contract and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or any alternative prize.

2.6 The wedding must take place within 12 months of the winner being notified, on a mutually agreed date, subject to availability and excluding key dates including Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day and other blackout dates.

2.7 The winner must enter into and sign Treehouse Hotel Manchester's standard wedding booking contract, together with any associated venue terms, conditions and operational policies, before the prize can be redeemed.

2.8 All venue spaces, accommodation, suppliers and additional services remain subject to availability and Treehouse Hotel Manchester's standard booking policies at the time of confirmation.

2.9 Treehouse Hotel Manchester reserves the right to substitute elements of the prize with alternatives of equal or greater value should circumstances beyond its reasonable control require.

2.10 The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.

3. Eligibility

3.1 The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.

3.2 Employees of Bauer Media, Treehouse Hotel Manchester, their parent companies, subsidiaries, agencies, suppliers and immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

3.3 Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate entries may be disqualified.

3.4 The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age, identity and eligibility at any time.

4. How to Enter

4.1 Entries must be submitted via the official Bauer Media competition page during the promotional period.

4.2 The competition opening and closing dates will be published on the competition page.

4.3 No purchase is necessary to enter.

4.4 Entries received after the published closing date will not be accepted.

4.5 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are incomplete, corrupted, delayed or not successfully received due to technical issues.

5. Winner Selection

5.1 One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries after the competition closes.

5.2 The winner will be contacted using the contact details supplied at the time of entry.

5.3 If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 48 hours, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

5.4 The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Prize Redemption

6.1 Wedding planning and redemption of the prize will be managed directly with Treehouse Hotel Manchester.

6.2 The prize is subject to venue availability and operational requirements.

6.3 The winner must redeem the prize within the validity period stated in Section 2.6.

6.4 Any upgrades, additional guests, optional extras or enhancements requested by the winner will be charged at Treehouse Hotel Manchester's prevailing rates.

6.5 The winner is responsible for arranging and paying for any additional services, suppliers or enhancements that exceed the maximum prize value of £12,500.

6.6 Any third party suppliers engaged as part of the wedding remain subject to their own availability, contracts and terms and conditions. Treehouse Hotel Manchester cannot guarantee the availability of any specific supplier, performer or service.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Bauer Media nor Treehouse Hotel Manchester shall be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in this competition or use of the prize, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

8. Data Protection

8.1 Personal information will be processed by Bauer Media for the administration of the competition in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

8.2 The winner's details may be shared with Treehouse Hotel Manchester solely for the purposes of administering and fulfilling the prize.

9. General

9.1 Bauer Media and Treehouse Hotel Manchester reserve the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the competition where reasonably necessary.

9.2 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

9.3 Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
