About Sam Grainger
Sam Grainger is the chef behind Sister Moon, bringing his bold, instinctive approach to Southeast Asian cooking to Treehouse Hotel Manchester. Known for Madre, Belzan and Medlock Canteen, Sam has built a reputation for food that is generous, flavour led and full of character. His cooking is shaped by travel, collaboration and a deep respect for the energy of a shared table. At Sister Moon, his menu draws on the layered flavours of Southeast Asia, with a focus on fire, fragrance and fresh British produce. Inspired in part by time spent cooking with a local family in Thailand, Sam brings warmth, depth and a sense of discovery to every dish
