ClayLife Summer Tableware Workshop

Saturday 19th July
2-4pm
Chestnut

ClayLife returns to host a creative couple of hours at Treehouse this July. This beginner-friendly clay workshop includes step-by-step guidance and all the materials you need to create your own handmade masterpiece. Your ClayLife creations will be professionally fired in the kiln and glazed in the finish of your choice.

What you’ll make:

You’ll have the option to craft stylish table décor such as dipping bowls, olive bowls, sauce bowls, serving platters, and more. With a two-hour session, you’ll leave with a couple of unique pieces to add a personal touch to your home—perfect for summer table settings!

Where it’s happening:

Join us in Chestnut at Treehouse Hotel Manchester(fully accessible). Make a day of it and arrive early to enjoy brunch or small plates at  PIP Restaurant before your ClayLife session begins.

General oversight of how the session will run:

1:45pm: people will start arriving, during this time you can buy a glass of whatever you’re drinking and start to settle down before the session begins.

2pm: The workshop will begin, Nina will take you through the process step by step. There are no allocated breaks during these sessions. However feel free to take a break whenever desired whether to take a breath of fresh air or buy another drink and if you have missed anything, Nina will catch you up.

3:50pm: the workshop will be coming towards the end and you can now start thinking which colour glaze you will be selecting.

4pm: the workshop will now come to an end, you can leave behind your ClayLife creations. They will be taken to the ClayLife studio in Hope Mill, Ancoats, where they will spend the next couple of weeks drying, being bisque fired and then glaze fired. This can take up to a month (give or take) and then a collection time will be organised or for an additional fee we can organise postage.

Tickets are £45 per person including the class and teas and coffees.
