Chef Scott

Executive Chef Scott Koranda

Hailing from Ames, Iowa, a center of agriculture, Scott Koranda grew up putting food on the table for his siblings with ingredients from farmers he knew well. Now, as Executive Chef of Treehouse Silicon Valley, Scott channels his roots to deliver menus grounded in an abundance of local, fresh, organic, and sustainably sourced ingredients. Chef Koranda oversees all daily operations of the kitchen and is the driving force behind Treehouse's culinary vision.

We believe exceptional events can be both memorable and mindful. From hyper-seasonal menus sourced from local regenerative farms to kitchen and bar ingredient synergy that reduces waste, sustainability is woven into every detail. We donate surplus food through platforms like Copia, use recyclable and reusable packaging, and eliminate single-use plastics with stainless-steel beverage service. Our bar features low-impact wines and in-house filtered water, while event furnishings are crafted from sustainably sourced materials and delivered in eco-friendly packaging.
