Join us for a grounding yet activating experience where movement, breath, and sound come together to reconnect you with your body as a source of guidance. In collaboration with True North - a curated wellness platform for women in London, this gathering is designed to shift you out of overthinking and into embodied knowing.
Rather than asking, “What should I do?” We begin to ask, “What is my body telling me to do?”
Your body is constantly offering direction - through sensation, expansion, contraction, ease, and resistance. When you learn to tune into these signals, decision-making becomes less about force, and more about alignment. This is a space to explore the body, as something to listen to, move with, and be led by.
What is Qigong?
Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, breath, and awareness to cultivate and direct life force energy - known as Qi. Often described as a moving meditation, Qigong is a practice of feeling your way through movement.
It supports you to:
- Sense the direction of your energy - where it wants to expand or pull back
- Release what feels stagnant or blocked
- Use movement as a form of guidance, not just exercise
Over time, this builds a deeper trust in your internal signals - allowing your body to become a compass for how you move, choose, and respond in your life.
What to Expect
Sensory Arrival
We begin by arriving into the body through breath and awareness. A moment to shift from external noise into internal sensation - where clarity begins.
Embodied Movement: Qigong as Guidance
Guided by Emily Rose Lisanti, this Qigong practice invites you into movement as a way of accessing direction.
Through slow, intentional sequences, you’ll explore:
- How your body responds to different movements and rhythms
- Where you feel expansion, openness, or resistance
- What happens when you follow sensation instead of overriding it
This is a practice of attuning to the body in real time. Subtle prompts and moments of intuitive movement will invite you to:
- Tune into your inner yes / no
- Experience energy moving outward, inward, or becoming still
- Begin to trust the signals that guide your next step
Sound Healing Journey
Guided by The Sound Faerie, we’ll immerse ourselves in the soothing resonance of crystal bowls, gongs, and other sacred instruments. From movement, we transition into stillness - allowing the body to integrate what has been activated.
Sound supports:
- Nervous system regulation after movement
- Deepening awareness of subtle internal cues
- Creating space for clarity to emerge without force
A Note on Preparation
To fully receive the benefits of this experience:
- Please wear comfortable clothing to move freely and rest in
- Avoid heavy meals two hours before the event.
- Refrain from alcohol for at least 24 hours.
- If you are in your first or last trimester of pregnancy, have a pacemaker, heart irregularities, or sound-induced epilepsy, please consult your doctor before attending.
