Site Notifications (Old Site Alerts)

Site Notifications are banners that can be used for announcements, promotions, updates, or alerts. A banner is a compact, attention-grabbing section displayed at the top of the site to convey important messages. It includes message with an optional link. Currently, some banners are populated without publishing.

 

 

Add Site Notification

site notifications can be popped on Property Node or in the Brand node (homepage) by clicking the button 'Add Notification' located in the "Details" tab.

Notifications fields

  • Description -  is where you'll add the copy that would be shown in the notification bar name of the banner in Label field to sort out in the backend.
  • URL (Optional) - the link address that the link in the notification bar will redirect to.
  • Link text - the copy text that the link will displayed at the end of the description text.
  • Attributes - the configuration attributes of the link, e.g: to be redirected on the same or a new browser tab and ARIA Label for ADA complience.
